Celebrating the Saints Who Have Died

On November 7, we will be celebrating All Saints Sunday. Every year we say goodbye to people we love as we entrust them into God’s care and they breathe their last. We believe that the dead are not gone forever, but live on in God’s heart, awaiting the day of resurrection.  This is a time that the church remembers the saints who have died in the past year and celebrates their witness to God’s love.

If there is a saint in your life who has died this past year, please submit their name and, if possible, date of death and a photo to [email protected] or leave a message at 414.258.0456 so that we can commemorate them at our All Saints celebration. During worship, we will read the names and you will be invited to come up to the altar to light candles in their honor. Please have all submissions in by Tuesday, November 2nd.
