Life is Growing at Mt Zion

Thanks to Anna and John Kissel and Shauna Johnson who spearheaded our brand new vegetable and pollinator gardens! The vegetable garden will grow beans, squash, potatoes, and tomatoes which will be shared with the Tosa Cares food pantry. It is our hope that we will be able to continue our efforts to feed the hungry with the crops produced at Mt Zion.

In addition to the vegetable garden, the pollinator garden will attract and support bees, butterflies and perhaps even fireflies. The flowers support our efforts to be good stewards of creation, beautify the community, and can help prevent stormwater runoff (which is good for the environment as well as our water bill!).
