“We have watched some youth make great strides here, then turn 18 and have little social support. This January, we purchased a second building (on 20th and National) and are in the process of renovating it with the intention to pro-vide housing for LGBTQ+ young adults, ages 18-24, who have been homeless or aged out of the social welfare system. We will be more than ‘trauma in-formed landlords’ but create a community--with shared kitchen, living room and common areas.” Jean Northway, Program Director Courage MKE

When you support Courage MKE, you provide safe, welcoming housing for homeless LGBTQIA+ youth in the area. You provide financial support for group outings, swimming trips, boating, go-kart racing and other wonderful summer memories. You contribute toward educational scholarships and hy-gienic kits to make sure all youth are happy and healthy.
