MZY Journey is a program especially for middle schoolers. Traditionally called "confirmation" or "catechism", MZY Journey is all about help youth dig into their faith and think about what they believe. It's a space for them to begin asking questions as well as to learn how to practice their faith in their lives. MZY Journey covers a broad overview of Christian basics, like an overview of the basic biblical story, conversations about who God is and what God's like, how to pray, the real challenge of the 10 Commandments, what the Gospel is, practicing Christian service, what we really believe about afterlife, and so much more.

At the end of MZY Journey, the youth have an opportunity to affirm their faith (sometimes called "confirmation" or "affirmation of baptism"). This is their chance to speak, sometimes for the first time publically, about what it means for them to be a Christian and to affirm the promises made at their baptisms.

MZY welcomes young men and women of all ethnicity, abilities, sexual orientation, and religious persuasion. Journey with us to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and his Christian community. ALL REALLY ARE welcome.
