Thank you to everyone who helped make our Easter worship beautiful. A special thank you to those who donated Easter lilies. The white lily, mentioned many times in the Bible, symbolizes purity, rebirth, new beginnings and hope and is most often associated with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus particularly mentions the lilies in his Sermon on the Mount, where he uses their beauty to remind us of how much God cares for us.

This year's lilies were given by:

  • Edie Di Giacinto in memory of Pete Di Giacinto
  • Carol Cobus in honor of Pastor Tyler for his extraordinary sermons
  • Kelsey Forsberg
  • Meg Luedtke
  • Irene McCarthy in memory of Ralph McCarthy
  • Anna and John Kissle in honor of Great Uncle Josef "Jupp" Groneweg
  • Mae Eckardt in honor of Mt Zion's choir and Pastor Tyler
  • Lynn Pearson in honor of loved ones
  • Joe and Nancy Di Giacinto in honor of Sam & Alice Di Giacinto and Herman and Eva Boehland
  • Joe and Chris Kress
  • John and Lynda Yanny in honor and memory of parents and grandparents
  • The Monahans in honor of Johna nd Randi Dawson
  • Erik Peterson in honor of Mt ZIon Staff and Volunteers

Thank you again for helping make our Easter worship beautiful. And remember, if this is how beautiful God made the lilies, how much moreso are you one of God's beautiful creations!
