Dear Friends and Members of Mt Zion:

We are excited to announce our Nip’n’Tuck Special Stewardship Appeal!

After much consideration, the Stewardship Team has decided to focus our energy on a few important improvements at Mt Zion. While Mt Zion looks amazing for its age, we thought that, in celebration of our 80th birthday, it was time to address several structural and cosmetic issues that will help keep Mt Zion strong and beautiful for future generations.

Our Nip’n’Tuck Special Stewardship Appeal is for:

Organ Renovations - $7,125
Our organ has not been refurbished in over 50 years, and it needs some TLC. The focus of this project will be the pedalboard, which has issues that make playing difficult.

Building Tuckpointing - $11,800
Tuckpointing is the mortar work that holds together the bricks together and ensures the structural integrity of a building. We have put off this work for years, but it is time to hire a mason and ensure the long-term stability of our church building. There are a few big cracks around the building, especially one running the length of the bell tower, that needs to be repaired.

In total, these renovations will cost approximately $18,925. Thankfully, two private donors have already donated $7,225, which means we are only $11,700 away from reaching our goal — an incredible start! Would you consider donating to this important Nip’n’Tuck Appeal?

Give Now!

We are deeply grateful for the generosity and dedication of this congregation. Every gift, large or small, helps preserve Mt Zion for worship, fellowship, and ministry for generations to come.

And, if we exceed our goal, we will celebrate with a tithe toward Courage House of Milwaukee, a home for LGBTQIA+ youth who are struggling. Courage House recently moved into a new home that also needs renovations to ensure the place is safe and welcoming for their youth.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we work together to care for our church. Together we'll praise the Lord for years to come!

Peace and blessings,

The Mt Zion Stewardship Team
