Building a Spirit of Generosity

The Stewardship Committee seeks to build up a spirit of generousity and thanksgiving at Mt Zion, helping our community celebrate and share the gifts we have.

Stewardship is the faithful management of resources - time, skills, people, possessions, and particularly money. The Stewardship Committee's biggest job is to work with the Leadership Board to share with the congregation and other donors the vision and goals for Mt Zion in the coming year and seek to build support for that vision.

But stewardship doesn't stop at an annual appeal. Stewardship is something that happens all year round. It involves growing people in faith, showing people appreciation, sharing the stories of ministry their support made happen, helping people make a lifelong plan for generousity, and so much more.
