At Mt Zion, children are an important part of our community. They are the future, of course, but they are so much more than that. Children see God in ways most adults have forgotten. Without children, we would miss out on so much of the beauty God has to offer.
From the youngest age, we believe children are able to participate in the practices of faith. Toddlers can say amen and bless parents. Preschoolers can praise God in body and spirit. Elementary kids can even lead adults in worship, helping serve communion, collecting the offering, or telling everyone else the stories of faith. Our hope is that every child is able to practice the marks of discipleship at their level.
